1411 H Street

Built in 1890 by Thomas Johnson, this two-story Stick/Eastlake house has narrow proportions that are accentuated by a pedimented square bay. Also noteworthy is the attenuated frieze, further accented by narrow panels, dentils, and brackets. The Eastlake porch has a modified hipped roof which is echoed in the adjacent bay. (Green Book)
