Built in 1938 by Lawrence A. Westby and designed by Dr. Samuel. P. Burre. The home is a one-and-a-half story stucco in a Streamline Moderne style, and was apparently the inspiration for the Burre apartment on Buhne and H streets. Curved surfaces and minimal ornament characterize this superb home. Round windows and horizontal lines dominate the appearance. Originally there were glass bricks in the curved window to the north but they have since been replaced, either in the late 70s or early 80s.
