2134 E Street

Built 1906 by S.F. Hall. This two-story frame house is an interesting example of building styles in transition. It hasn’t left the Queen Anne behind entirely as it still has what appears to be vestigial towers at two corners; however, the front and side porches are Colonial revival in style and the curved glass in the corner tower another indication of the turn-of-the-century. Unusual features include the deep flared eave over the two-story tower and the half-tower surmounted by a porch on the opposite corner.
