Built in 1911, the Semila House is a vernacular Classical Revival cottage with a recessed corner porch and slanted bay projection under the pyramidal hipped roof. The property is especially interesting for its excellent shingled water tower and windmill. This structure rises over a gabled base to a cube with semicircular openings. Builder John Lax.
