1105 H Street

The design of the John Daly House is highly unusual. This Craftsman was designed by A. Dodge Coplin of Oakland, who did not live to see it completed. The overhanging upper level is supported by pyramid-shaped columns, creating a recessed first-floor porch. The floor above is dominated by large pegged brackets. The balconettes with spiked railings are singular in Eureka.
