Built in 1882 by Close and Mercer. This one-story Italianate cottage has a hipped-roof, slanted bays, ornate brackets, and window pediments. The round-headed windows and pedimented canopies over the windows are common to the Italianate style. This house still has the old, blue street markers at the corner of 10th and G. The bay to the rear of the house and the brick front “lawn” was added at a later date.
