Built in 1885, the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church is a Victorian Gothic Revival with gothic, pointed-top windows and wooden buttresses that appear to support the walls. The house next door to the church is the St. Bernard’s Church Rectory. This two-story house is a shingle and frame Queen Anne house. Both were built by James Simpson.
