10 West Clark Street

This one-story Italianate cottage house has a very complex facade with curved elements over the porch and bracketed eaves. Built in 1884 the porch has Moorish curves incorporated into it and the porch seems to echo the balance of the house as does the sun porch on the left corner. Scrollsaw-cut panels, composite window frames, and chamfered corners all emphasize the elegance of the house. The architect of this beautiful house was George F. Costerisan and the owner was T. Brosnan.
