Built in 1901 by Charles Hess and owned by S. Steele, the one-story frame cottage with hipped roof, full front porch, decorative friezes, and column brackets has a similar style to 2143 and 2149 California Street. Notice also the use of the colors green and white which offers again and elegant Victorian feeling.
