1502 D Street

Built 1909. A common modest house type, this vernacular one-and-a-half story Neoclassical/Queen Anne residence is a good example of a home with details transitional to the later bungalow form. This example is distinguished by a typical indented corner porch with Doric column supports. The house is shingled with hipped roof and dormer, diamond-patterned windows, and a wide, broad bay window.
