803 Second Street

This building is no longer in existence. Built in 1871, Italianate styling characterized this modest but elegant house designed for the Connick family. The elevations, symmetrically organized, were defined by two-over-two double-hung sash windows in heavily textured frames featuring bracketed hood moldings. The upper cornice was composed of a plain frieze and intermittent brackets.
