The First Presbyterian Church is perhaps the best example of Mission Revival style in the county. The structure includes elaborate archways and a cupola that was an addition made in the 1970s. The entrance to the main chapel is exactly the theme introduced by Bertram Goodhue in San Diego in such notable places as Balboa Park. Countless Mexican Colonial churches have similar facades.
